Fire Facts Seminar #26: NJ Uniform Fire Code Update- Inspection, Testing and Maintenance & Introductory to In-building Emergency Responder Radio Coverage Enhancement Systems.

This year’s instructors will be John Drucker and Jesse Baker. John Drucker is the Fire Protection and Electrical subcode Official for the Borough of Red Bank and the Fire Protection Subcode Official in the Borough of Oceanport, NJ. Jesse Baker is the Business Development Manager at Honeywell.

John Drucker is a recognized leader in the field of fire prevention and construction code enforcement specializing in fire alarm systems. He has over 29 years of experience in both the volunteer and career fire service. John worked as a project manager for the installation of fire alarm/detection and emergency systems in the World Trade Center complex after the 1993 bomb attack, a role he held at the time of the September 11, 2001 attack. John is currently a Fire Protection and Electrical Subcode Official for the Borough of Red Bank and the Fire Protection Subcode Official for the Borough of Oceanport, NJ. He has experience instructing fire inspection students at the World Trade Center Complex, instructing public education programs and an adjunct instructor for the Fire Protection ICS/HHS programs at Brookdale Community College.

Jesse Baker lives with his wife and two daughters in Harmony NJ.  He started in the fire and life safety business as a technician, in 2002.  Since then he has held various roles within the industry and currently works for Honeywell as the Mid-Atlantic’s Regional Sales Manager.  Jesse graduated Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College with degrees in Business and Psychology.  He later received his Master’s degree in Project Management from Drexel University with a concentration in Construction Management.  In 2017 Jesse earned his NICET IV in Fire Alarm Systems.  He has been active in the radio enhancement segment of the business since 2013.

All New Jersey Fire Officials, Fire Sub Code Officials, Fire Inspectors and Fire Officers are invited to attend this FREE seminar sponsored by City Fire Equipment Company, Seton Hall University, Princeton University and The South Orange Fire Department. Attendees will be eligible for 0.5 Technical CEU’s for Division of Fire Safety and 0.5 Technical CEU’s for NJ Division of Codes and Standards

Registration is only open to Fire Officials, Fire Subcode Officials, Fire Inspectors & Fire Officers until December 14th.  After December 14th registration is open to all, subject to available space.
